Overview

Focus Cafe: Time & Tasks is being built by Niarel to reduce overwhelm and support executive dysfunction through planning, time tracking, journaling, and optional social focus features. This placeholder policy will be expanded before release, but the current intent is simple: collect only what the app needs to run, protect social features behind account authentication, and keep user control clear.

Information We May Collect

• Account details such as email address and Profile name.
• Focus session information such as timer duration, labels, categories, and related metadata.
• Social feature information such as your exact handle, temporary Friend invitations, Cafe presence, and privacy preferences when those features are enabled.
• Basic technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to provide the app experience, sync account-backed data, support cafe and friend features, secure accounts, and improve reliability.

Guest Mode

Guest mode keeps social features locked. Local app data may remain only on the device unless an account-backed sync feature is enabled.
